Would you like to support the Tchukudu Women's Training Centre beyond shopping on this site? 

Since 2014, the Tchukudu Project has earned help from many sponsors. We have been able to help 70+ women to learn new skills and to begin their own businesses. In the DRCongo, especially in North Kivu, where the political situation is tenuous and violence continues unabated, our training program provides women with income earning opportunities and most importantly they tell us it provides them with hope.

Because of so many people’s compassion and generosity, we are inspired to think big…

• Purchase the needed supplies to teach the women sewing, basket weaving and sanitary pad production
• Provide the women with a business development kit to start their own sewing cooperative business
• Build a new building to house our Reusable Sanitary Pad Income Generating Project. Here women will earn an income making and selling sanitary pads and we will ensure all women and girls have access to products that mean they can work and go to school while menstruating. 

These are strong, resilient women who are determined to learn skills that will better their lives.
